Description: We have been waiting for nearly half a year for the water levels to drop low enough to return to this location! We finally got our chance to get back here with the canoe and do some exploring for Pleistocene age fossils and the occasional Eocene age shark tooth. This was a very enjoyable adventure, as they always are. We found fossils from mastodons, giant ground sloths, tapirs, alligators, camels and a lot more. The carnivores eluded us on this trip, but that just means we'll have to return here again on the next opportunity to find what we missed this time around.
